The J&F Group began as a family renovation and remodeling company in Atlanta. Ali Daftarian grew up watching and helping in his family’s business. When it was time for Ali to attend university, he decided to study related disciplines because of his passion for the work involved in building and remodeling. Ali graduated from Georgia Tech (the Georgia Institute of Technology) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Ali went on to earn his Master of Science Degree in Building Construction Management, also from Georgia Tech.
After completing his Master’s Degree, Ali spent 15 years in the construction industry as a construction manager, project engineer, and project manager. In these positions, he learned the best ways to accomplish each job. It seemed at almost every worksite, people complained about the quality of the painting work. They’d ask why it’s so difficult to find a professional painter or contractor who offers fair pricing, can perform the work on time, at or under budget, and can do it all with excellent quality.
The Solution
Ali heard and understood the problem people had with professional painters in Atlanta. He knew he had the capabilities, knowledge, and skills to provide commercial and residential clients a top-notch painting service. Ali returned to his family’s business and focused on providing the best painting services possible. The J&F Group added painting services alongside the existing remodeling and renovation services offered at the time.
